Administrative Tribunals: Using the AAT and the new WA State Administrative Tribunal
Published on 24 Nov 2005 | Took place at City West Function Centre, West Perth, WA
The State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) was established in Western Australia in 2005 as an independent body that makes and reviews a range of administrative decisions. The SAT's approach is informal, flexible and transparent. Its jurisdiction covers over 130 different Acts of Parliament and is of particular interest to those who advise in the field of taxation in Western Australia.
Taxpayers and their advisers are more often involved in matters of Pay Roll Tax and Stamp Duty than they have ever been before. Understanding how the new SAT operates is vital to guiding your clients through these complex and costly areas of law.
