Death & Taxes
Published on 11 May 2006 | Took place at Rydges Riverwalk, Richmond, VIC
Practitioners are increasingly called upon to advise clients on effective estate and succession planning strategies. This can be very complicated because a mix of different laws come into play.
These seminar materials will update you in relation to relevant developments in tax, superannuation and laws relating to wills, testamentary trusts and claims against estates which you need to be aware of.
In the first session, tax issues unique to estate planning were addressed by Michael Flynn. In the second session, a range of estate planning issues for superannuation funds and benefits were canvassed by Daniel Butler.
In the third session, the typical ways in which will and testamentary trusts can be challenged was covered by Richard Boaden. In the final session, different estate planning strategies and techniques were analysed by Bernie O’Sullivan.
