Dissecting the Health Professions
Published on 30 Sep 2010 | Took place at Grand Chancellor Adelaide, Adelaide, SA
The 1 July 2010 change from local to national based regulation of our ten health professions makes this an opportune time to revisit existing practices and identify the new issues and opportunities applying to all of our clients operating within or alongside these professions.
This event took practitioners on an illustrative and interactive expedition through three topics most relevant to health professional advisors:
- the restrictions placed on health professionals in conducting their practice by both the national regulatory framework and Australia’s taxation laws
- common (and some not so common) structures health professionals may adopt in undertaking their professional practice to increase the economic efficiency of their family group
- effective asset protection strategies which serve to protect the valuable assets (operating, investment or otherwise) of health professionals.
