Members may have seen some of the media coverage of a recent speech by the Treasury Secretary, Dr Martin Parkinson, PSM. In it, Dr Parkinson bells the cat on Australia’s budgetary position and the pressing need for significant tax reform that includes the GST. What’s more, his speech had the blessing of the Treasurer.

Robert joined The Tax Institute after five years at one of Australia’s largest banks, where he held roles including Head of International Government Affairs. Prior to this, Robert was taxation adviser on the personal staff of the Australian Federal Treasurer.
