2019 Barossa Convention
Published on 02 May 2019 | Took place at Novotel Barossa Valley Resort, Adelaide, SA
Distinguished keynote speakers headlined this event: Professor Robert Breunig addressed the urgent need for tax reform in Australia and explored what this might look like and Professor Graeme Cooper, took a deeper look into the CGT regime and explored potential issues that can trip the unwary practitioner. The second part of the event was based around a case study with each session focusing on specific tax and legal aspects of a business group through time, including special commentary from the ATO. To round out the Convention a leading panel looked into the practical implications of the Division 7A reforms on our private clients.
