Doug’s areas of responsibility in KPMG Cairns are taxation, business valuations and litigation support. It is in the field of taxation where Doug is frequently called upon to advise the firm’s Aboriginal clients seeking exemptions from direct and indirect taxation as well as fringe benefits and land tax matters. Doug has also presented numerous seminars and workshops on goods and services tax for clients and various business associations such as Housing Industry Association, Department of State Development, Hostels Association (FNQ Branch) and for local accounting firms.
