Steve took up the position of Deputy Inspector-General of Taxation on 4 November 2003. Prior to taking up the current role, Steve held a senior position in the ATO where his key responsibility was co-ordinating support for Tax Practitioners following a well publicised campaign by practitioners late last year. His other key role related to examination of the administrative design of the tax system. - Current at 01 April 2004
