This presentation focusses on the legislative changes, changes to the ATO’s view on the business nature of the activities and associated test case. The presentation also examines how to effectively lobby government and different approaches that can be undertaken.

Ian Mortley
Ian is General Manager of Great Southern Securities Pty Ltd and has been with the company for over seven years. Ian is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in Commerce and an MBA as well as a Diploma of Financial Planning. Prior to joining Great Southern in 1999, Ian operated a number of Financial Planning practices in conjunction with Accountants and Lawyers. He specialises in developing tax planning strategies and through his role works with hundreds of accountants throughout Australia. - Current at 08 June 2007
