Melinda Watson
Melinda worked as a Solicitor specialising in Banking and Finance prior to joining OSR. Since joining the Queensland OSR in 1997, Melinda has held a wide range of positions including Legal Officer, Senior Training Officer, Manager Technical Advice Branch and, presently Director, Policy & Legislation Division. She also recently took on a key role as Manager in the legislative team responsible for the drafting of the Duties Act 2001. She has extensive knowledge of the new legislation, particularly in relation to more complex commercial transactions. Melinda has responsibility for leading the Policy Legislation Division (which also includes the Legal Branch and the Administrative Policy Branch). - Current at 09 June 2005
