Entity Tax Regime
Published on 24 Oct 00 by THE TAX INSTITUTE
The new entity taxation regime is a reality. Now is the time to do something about it. The Entity Taxation Regime measures that were released as an Exposure Draft on 11 October 2000 will reform the face of Australian tax in a fundamental way forever from 1 July 2001. Don't delay action because these measures are in an Exposure Draft. Gordon Cooper, Director, Greenwoods & Freehills sets out crucial aspects of these measures from which you will be able to identify what has to be done to be ready for this new tax regime. Their scope of application is wider than you think!
