- the law that applied in respect of third parties before the legislative changes and the Family Court’s approach to trusts
- Binding Financial Agreements under the FLA and their use as a planning and asset protection tool
- the Family Court’s new powers in relation to third parties introduced by changes that were effective from 17 December, 2004
- the effect in Family Law proceedings of the changes made to the BA and the FLA which came into effect in part on 15 April, 2005 and then as to the balance, on 18 September, 2005.
