An update on GST presentation

Jacqueline Hardwick CTA
Jacqui Hardwick is an experienced Partner of KPMG’s Indirect Tax practice who has been involved with GST since its introduction in Australia. Jacqui recently re-joined KPMG from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) where she was the National GST Technical lead for the Public Groups and International (PG&I) Top 1000 Combined Assurance Review (CAR) Program. In this role she was responsible for overseeing the delivery of all aspects of the program and ensuring stakeholder engagement. She also assisted with key design aspects of the expanded GST component. Jacqui advises widely including on governance, due diligence, compliance and risk assessment, incorporating the use of GST data for establishing the integrity of business systems and managing all manner of interactions with the ATO (compliance, assurance, specific issue reviews, audits, voluntary disclosures, settlements and requests for private binding rulings). Jacqui’s clients have included large NSW Government entities, publicly listed and multinational entities across all market sectors. - Current at 08 August 2024
Alison Marshall CTA
Alison has more than 20 years’ experience in advising on GST/VAT. She advises clients in service-based industries on domestic and cross-border issues, specialising in advising clients in financial services and technology industries. Alison is a member of the Financial Services Council (FSC) and Financial Services Accountants Association (FSAA) GST discussion groups, which includes involvement in submissions to the Revenue Authorities and Treasury on policy and legislative matters. - Current at 13 November 2020
