Author profile

David Middleton
David has been a leader in the financial advice industry for most of the last 30 years. He has been on investment committees for much of this time with Pembroke Financial Planners (now Godfrey Pembroke), With Ord Minnett, WHK Group (including Prescott Securities) and now in the firm he established with his brother Phillip two years ago - Middletons Securities. In 1998 David was elected to the National Board of the Financial Planning Association and he remained on the Board for five years. He was also a member of the Legislation and Regulations Committee and wrote the current FPA Policy Paper on Risk Tolerance Assessment. In 2003 his contribution to the Financial Advisory Profession nationally was recognized with a Distinguished Service Award. In 2007 ABC Books published the investment book "Kissing the Frog", written by David and Phillip. It has subsequently been published as an ebook by Harper Collins and by all accounts it's a darn good read. - Current at 20 June 2014
