Author profiles
Tony Burke
Tony is a Director with the Australian Bankers Association, where his role includes responsibility for developing the ABA's input to tax policy issues. He was previously Senior Vice President, Business-to-Business, with the National Australia Bank. Tony is a graduate of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, the Officer Cadet School and the University of Sydney, and is a University Medal winner from that institution. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. - Current at 05 December 2002Richard GILBERT
Richard is the Chief Executive Officer of the Investment and Financial Services Association (IFSA). He has held this position since 1 August 2002. During the period 1998 to July 2002 Richard was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of IFSA. Before his position at IFSA, Richard worked in CUSCAL funds management having moved into that position following several years as the secretary to the Senate Select Committee on Superannuation during its inquiries into superannuation guarantee, SIS and superannuation taxation.Current at 5 December 2002
David Lynch
David Lynch is Head of Policy and Markets with the Australian Financial Markets Association, which represents institutional banks and participants in Australia’s financial markets. David manages a team of highly-regarded policy executives and is the author of numerous submissions to government over the last 15 years. David’s work involves ongoing liaison with government agencies, including the ATO and the Commonwealth Treasury. - Current at 17 February 2011
