Gareth Aird
Gareth is a Senior Economist at the Commonwealth Bank. His extensive experience reflects work in economic policy and financial markets in both the public and private sectors. Gareth works in the Global Markets division of CBA and has been there for five years. His work primarily involves developing and communicating views on the Australian economy and financial markets. Prior to Gareth joining the Bank, he spent four years in London as a Senior Policy Advisor with HM Treasury. Before working in London, Gareth was with the NSW Treasury for six years. During his time at Treasury, he worked in the areas of fiscal policy and macroeconomics. Gareth holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics (Hons) degree and Master of Commerce degree from the University of Sydney. - Current at 02 February 2018
