Shane Reardon
Shane has over 36 years experience in the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and is currently the Deputy Commissioner of the Public Groups and International area. In this role he is responsible for overseeing tax administration and tax compliance for all public entities. These entities contribute over $40 billion to our income tax collections per annum. In his extensive career Shane has been a strong leader of change with a focus on compliance strategy development. As Deputy Commissioner for the Public Groups segment, Shane Reardon has been at the forefront of the ATO's transformation plans. He will discuss the ATO's new approach to 'relationship based compliance', and how companies can prepare for and benefit from real-time ATO interaction. - Current at 10 September 2014
