Author profiles

Kristina Allan
Kristina is an International Director with EY’s International Tax Services practice. She has 17 years of experience dealing with US tax considerations for a range of clients from large multinational public companies to small private companies in all industry sectors. Kristina has assisted clients with structuring operations in the US, due diligence procedures, acquisition structuring and financing, cross-border asset migrations, repatriation strategies, foreign tax credit planning, Subpart F planning, merger integrations, supply chain planning, and various other tax issues. Kristina has experience in advising clients with regards to US federal income tax, international tax, tax compliance, and tax accounting. She is currently serving as the US Tax Desk in Sydney and, in that role, is serving Australian based clients with investments into or from the US, doing business in the US or entering the US market. - Current at 24 September 2015
Matthew Lane
Matt is a Tax Director with Deloitte in Brisbane and has substantial experience as both an external and in-house tax adviser specialising in superannuation and financial services more broadly. Matt recently joined Deloitte after spending 10 years with QSuper (now the Australian Retirement Trust) during which he held various tax and finance positions. He is experienced in managing global tax compliance obligations and providing advice to superannuation funds and other financial services industry clients on domestic and international tax matters, investment structuring and implementation, new product development, tax governance and risk management frameworks. - Current at 26 July 2022
